Radon is a colorless, odorless, cancer causing, radioactive gas that, according to the EPA, is linked to approximately 21,000 lung cancer deaths in the United States per year.

Radon is a naturally occurring gas that is found in the soil, and Central Ohio is in one of the EPA’s highest rated zones. Fortunately, even the highest of radon levels can be controlled, and it is the goal of EHS to provide that service in a professional, affordable and workmanlike manor.

Radon mitigation systems can typically be installed in one day, and with very little disturbance to the owner and home. After the system is installed, EHS will re-test the home to ensure that the radon levels have been controlled, and provide documentation to the owner of the results. EHS takes pride in not only lowering radon levels in the home, but also informing clients on the functionality of the systems so they know the role of every component, and can ensure it is working properly once the system is installed.
